Ourense is the third largest city in the region of Galicia in Northwest Spain. Heavy with Roman influence, one of the primary landmarks of the city is the Roman bridge Ponte Vella that traverses the Miño River. Ourense also holds one of the greatest amounts of geothermal water in Europe, and one of the main tourist attractions is related to its hot springs. A 2016 Fellow from Ourense says "The excursions were unbelievable! The mix of seeing another health care system and still being able to visit amazing sites around your city was perfect."
